Job Description
The opportunity
Supply Nation has an exciting fixed-term temporary contract opportunity for an Events Assistant to join our Sydney team on a full-time basis.
Reporting to the Events Manager and working within the Marketing, Communications and Media team, the Events Assistant supports with a range of tasks, from the event planning stages through to event execution.
This role is critical in supporting the events team in the delivery of Supply Nation's flagship event Connect 2026.
More specifically, some key responsibilities include:
Monitor and action ticketing enquiries including bookings, exchanges, refunds, and cancellations through our online platform Events Air.
Monitor the Connect inbox, providing a response within 48 hours to external enquiries via phone and email.
Collaborate across teams including events, marketing, and sponsorships to improve responses for external enquiries.
Proactively consider customer service requirements and develop solutions to meet their needs.
Prepare/update communication materials for Exhibitors, Awards Finalists, Speakers and Talent.
Coordinate merchandise delivery to venue and packing of Tradeshow bags.
Attendance at after-hours meetings and/or events may be required
Interstate travel may be required for events.
Desired Skills and Experience
What we need from you:
Knowledge and understanding of Indigenous societies, cultures and issues affecting Indigenous Australians in business.
Exceptional time management and prioritisation skills to deliver outcomes on time
Strong commitment to superior customer service
Excellent attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders
Experience with ticketing systems (e.g. Eventbrite, Humanitix or similar)
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Suitably qualified Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate will be rewarded with a base salary up to $65,000 (commensurate with skills and experience) PLUS super and additional benefits including:
